Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Both.

All training is available to be delivered virtually via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. If possible, we love to do in-person training, too.

  • Virtually, using Zoom, the maximum number of attendees is 500. With MS Teams, 300.

Other than that, it’s entirely up to you. The smaller the group, the more intimate the discussions. The larger the group, the more group work / breakout rooms we use.

If you’re wanting a deep understanding and discussion with a facilitator guiding the conversation, the smaller, the better.

  • We believe everyone is an expert in what they need, so we invite people to participate as much as is right for them.

    We do this by:

    • Prior to your engagement we distribute an anonymous survey to all attendees asking how we can create an enjoyable learning experience for them. This survey also asks them to reflect on the #1 question they have about training, so we ensure we include that.

    • Being explicit if it’s being recorded. If it’s being recorded, where possible, not using names in response to questions shared in the chat.

    • Not sharing video or images of participants for marketing purposes unless given explicit permission.

    • Encouraging participation but outlining that it is optional.

    • Outlining that cameras are optional in sessions.

    • Running our content by you one week prior to each session and pairing it with the insights we’ve heard from the group to get your context.

    • Acknowledging those who prefer to not participate in breakout rooms, by asking them to quietly reflect during the group exercises.

    • Not telling people what to do. Rather, we offer a framing, tool, or analogy to the audience and invite them to reflect if it’s relevant for their unique scenario.

    • Owning what we don’t know.

  • Everyone learns differently. We offer different ways to learn in our sessions by:

    • Providing you with a short email introducing the key ideas to consider before each session.

    • Providing the presentation as a PDF at the start of the session for people who prefer to read along.

    • Ensuring our slides are easily legible for those who prefer to read and have the volume down.

    • Links to further reading / references for those who like to dive deeper.

    • Where people don’t like to communicate verbally, we invite them to use the chat.

    • Inviting people to break as they need - they’re experts in what they need.

    • Sending ours Guides following training, for people to reflect on.

  • We engage audiences online by:

    • Asking for a ‘Y’ in the chat, if they understand a concept, so we can get an understanding of their advancement.

    • Inviting them to privately message a question they’d like answered, without having their name called out.

    • Inviting them to optional breakout rooms, to deep dive into a concept.

    • Inviting them to share their #1 question about the topic in the chat, so we ensure we answer their top priority where we can, in session.

    • Providing an anonymous survey link during the session to encourage higher response rates.
