This is a session of up to six participants in Sydney. The objective of a smaller group is to ensure you receive dedicated time to nail your elevator pitch and practice saying it out loud in the confines of an intimate group. Often smaller groups enable people to feel more confident practicing saying it out loud for the first time.
In this session, we will cover:
- How to be perceived as an expert in your field (what you need to communicate)
- What is your elevator pitch? (we will write this together in the session)
- How you can get noticed at work if you work for someone else
- How you can get noticed in the industry if you work for yourself
- Practice saying your elevator pitch out loud and get support from the group on how to take this into your work / industry.
You will receive a recording of your elevator pitch to rehearse at home, a worksheet with templates and a summary of everything we discussed on the day.
Teams from Reserve Bank of Australia, WINK Models and General Assembly have all completed this training.
Tickets are $249 and sell very quickly. Sign up now by filling in the form below.
What previous participants have said:
What prompted you to book / attend the session? I was interested in learning how to get my elevator pitch to be succinct and yet reflective of the varied aspects of my role.
How did you feel after the session? I felt empowered! Rachel is so positive and her optimism is contagious. I was super lucky to attend a session that only had 4 of us there and so the attention Rachel was able to give us was on point.
What was the most helpful part of the session? The elevator pitch format - I still think I will need to refine it (and learn it off by heart) but at least I now have a good structure to use.
What prompted you to book / attend the session? To learn new / more ways to promote myself without being perceived as arrogant.
How did you feel after the session? More confident to do so as I've learnt a few more techniques.
What was the most helpful part of the session? The hands-on session to work on my speech about who I am and what I do. It was well-balanced with good examples, well-paced, interesting and engaging. I also like the chance to work on my "brand speech".
